Forest Department , Government of Kerala is to dedicate "Swanthana Vanam" (" Palliative forest")
to the incurably and chronically ill patients at Institute of Palliative Medicine.
It is a humble attempt of the department along with the Institute of Palliative Medicine to ensure that those in pain are touched by the palliation of the nature, the divine greenery
The initiative will be inaugurated by the honorable minister Sri. Binoy Vishwam on 26 February 2011Institute of Palliative Medicine, Medical College, Kozhikode, Kerala, India
